I would like to thank the members of the Staunton Genealogy Society for allowing me to come to their meeting on 08/21/2006. I met a lot of nice people and I believe that I will get some wonderful stories and good information from them for the site.

I received a call from Bill Adler the other night. I had told Bill and Kris about the good time we had in Savannah GA in May and they decide to go there this week after the wedding. At 10:30 PM I get a call from Bill and he told me that their ghost tour had been cut short because their guide had paniced over an experience in the Sorrel/Weed House (picture above). Bill told me that they had gone into the house went up stairs and they were all in one room together. Kris felt ill and was leaning up against the door in the room. Bill said that suddenly someone or something began to beat on the door Kris was leaning on. They heard no one come up the stairs behind them and the guide was so upset that she stopped the tour.
